Finished Screens / Re: MachMotion's Ultimate Screen 2.0

That is a very nice screenset. I assume it was meant for a touchscreen, given the integrated keyboard? Where does one aquire that screenset?

Lol, didn't even think of looking there. Yup, it's there

Did a quick Google search and I didn't find much of anything. Is this still available? If not, anyone have any good suggestions on software (or hardware) that can let me use switches or knobs to simulate key strokes? Looking at making a Fanuc style control panel for my router. I run a CNC for 12 hours a day at work, kinda want to see something similar when I play with the router, lol.

Basically what I am looking to do is: Start, Feed Hold, Op. Stop, Single Block. Also want: Feedrate and Spindle override knobs, Rapid override. And if possible, a knob that puts me into memory, edit, mdi, job, and then zero return. Very similar to an OEM CNC basically. Oh, and if that's not enough, I'd love a simple MPG. X,Y,Z, and resolutions of .01", .001", and .0001"

IIRC,

Most G codes are modal. When you call one, it remains active until another cancels it out. Ie, G90 cancels out a G91 (abs, inc)
So, the code you have might have a G0 further up the line, making it feasible to just call out A0.

tsk...tsk...it was really nice until you added the toolpath dispaly. If i everam able to figure out how to make my own screen sets, the toolpath display is going to be on it's own seperate page. Having run Fanuc controls for several years, I have grown accustomed to a specific display. Namely; elapsed cycle time,  distance remaining, etc.
I'll take some pics when i go to work tonight so you can see what I mean....

General Mach Discussion / cpu time is off now....

Hey all,

I've been playing around with M3 on my desktop PC (I have Master5 currently loaded on the machine PC), and I noticed something odd. After I start running it, my windows clock slows to a 10 to 1 ratio. (10 seconds go by before it advances 1 second) Any ideas what is causing this? The only way I found to get out of it was to reboot the computer. I was late for work the other day because of this, I just didn't now what the cause was at the time.. :)
