Hi Brian

I can imagine that it is a difficult question (not the question but the solution).
I appreciate your effort in this.
To me it would be a great progression in Lazycam if it would be possible.

Thanks Chip

I take my chance and give it a try , in the worst case it can cost a lpt board.

Hi Chip

My mistake , the output signal is of course stabilized.
Bud how about a resistor in series with A-B , shall that be necessarily and if yes what value should it have?
I ask this becourse my intention is to use two encoders for MPG purpose and i dont like to add a seccond break out board.

Hi all

Will 6 volt not destroy your port if no precautionary measure is taken?
If i want to put an encoder directly to the port do i need to put a resistor in series with the a and b channel?

Hi stirling

No 2.00,065 is not the latest.
If you go a little more down you see version 2.00.076 that is the latest.
The suggestion from Chip was a good one?
So a another happy user?

P.S.
If you are going to cut ferro metals magnetic switches are not the best home switches.
Chips can hit the switches and greate that way errors.

Hi Stirling

I have deleted mi message because i think the answer of Chip is the correct answer.
Bud you have an old version of Mach3, a lot is changed since version 1.84.
Maybe it is a good thing to get the latest version.
