okay  this is what I got

on x- and x home... active off moves away from home swtich

x- and x home both off... moves away from home switch

x- off and x home on...moves opposite direction

both checked on nothing....

I never did get it to move toward the home switch
does this tell us anything??

well, I found the configuration for de-bounce interval.... it was set on 100
I set it to 2000 but, it do anything different
after hitting reference home the z axis zero's out reverses off the switch and stops
with triggered limit switch....

It started doing this after I created a sample project on Cut 2D....By accident I checked
"scale data with job" when I ran the program x and y both went in the opposite directions
of the home switch when it became apparent they had no intention of stopping
I hit the E stop just about the time it crashed....I don't think it hit and if it did
it didn't hard....

before I proceed don't I need to see if I can't figure this out ??

Well, I don't know what I would do without this forum
I appreciate any one who can help to keep me moving forward

My new problem is I lost my "all reference home"

I do have the yellow abnormal light on

I read everything I could find on the yellow flashing abnormal light
and I realize it is an alert to a irregular condition....

But, I do have yellow lights on m1 limit and m1 home on the
diagnostics screen....

I can't get those to go out....

when I try to "all reference home" the z axis reverses off the home switch and
the "reference home" cycle stops right there with a message "triggered limit switch"

I suspect this problem is link to my yellow lights on M1 limit and m1 home

thanks in advance for taking the time to help

You mean if I run a G code that is  written in inches
my machine will automatically run it in inches
even though it is set up for mm.....
