I have a old mach 3 license and I need to move it to a new computer and I will have to move the license.  i wonder if its easer to re-set up the machine with mach 4 or 3. I am not ready yet to move it but trying to think a head

Craig,  I think I see the problem.  I needed a longer cable and with out even thinking, I go to Best Buy and buy a extension.  Thinking about it after reading  about  Model PMDX-411 SmartBOB-USB-DB25  where they advise no more than 15 feet but of a good quality cable.  I am betting the cable wasn't the proper gage cable so like men, all USB cables are not created equal

I bought the device from amazon and they just say contact the manufacture

I quite understand this.  I checked cables a number of times.  I went to plugins in Mach3 and deleted the driver and reinstalled this a number of times.  I think if you look at the date on that email you will see how long I have been playing with this.  This machine still isn't running. I am a old phart and just use this for relaxation but this hasn't been very relaxing,

Okay guys,  I bought a UC 100 because I have a windows 7 64 bit computer.  I bought the UC 100 and could not get it to work.  No matter how I installed it.   It was always the same answer.  No controller found. check connections. This was a $135 controller from Amazon and suppose to be Mach3 workable.
http://www.cncdrive.com/UC100.html .  I sent this driver back.  Now can any one give me a address for one that works or is it best to convert this computer to XP or windows 32 bit

I have installed the UC 100 and in installed it several times each time cleanout the plug file in Mach 3, Each time it installs and things seem fine. The green and blue light is on steady, not flashing. I start to use it and a box appears telling me to check connections. The directions that come with this also says check USB port driver. How do I find the right driver? The connections are fine. Now this isn't the E-bay one but from Amazon and I think made in Europe .

 I am running a Dell 660 with windows 7. The computer is a designated computer and not on line. The computer is in good shape. I have yet to get this to run any thing on my machine,

thanks Gerry  I did all this and it ran once then I was programing the steppers and I get the  message that the driver cant be found, check cables   so did that and I see the green light and the blue one.  The directions say to download the  USB drivers again.  Can you leed me to where the proper drivers are.

its great some people take time to help unknowledgeable people or  in my case dummy's like me lol

I also have a install problem with this install.  Following the directions from UC100 I was in a bit of a hurry.  I didn't see all the options on the window that dropped saying check . well UC 100 wa checked so I said install and opened Mach 3 as instructed,  the box pops up wit uc300 and uc400 , I cant get rid of them, , any suggestions.
