ger21 thanks for the response.
Well after viewing that post, fooling around with brains and looking at different brains for MPG's, I figured out how to change the DRO for slow jog rate via an input. I used a lobe formula that I have no idea how it works but it works! I installed a 6 position selector switch on the control panel that I am putting together. Wired up the selector switch to pokeys, I used OEM Triggers as the inputs and created a brain that will give me 6 specific percentile rates for the slow jog rate. The rates that I created was 5,10,20,50,80 and 100%. I have attached the brain file.

Maybe someone might be able to explain how the lobe formula works.

Thanks again,
Raul

That is the way I have it right now. I was looking to see if there was a way with brains. So no matter what screen i'm in, brains can read the input.
Thank you for your response ger21

Hello all,
I am trying to create a brain control that when I activate Input #1 it changes the DRO #3(Slow jog rate DRO screen 50) to a specified rate?

Thanks,

PoKeys / Re: Single button for Jog Mode
« on: March 28, 2012, 12:18:44 AM »
You can do it by modifying the 1024.set using the Mach3screen software. When you open up the software, load the 1024.set from the mach3 folder. Go to screen 50 on the top of the program and double click the jog mode button. There you can set a hot key for that function. For example crtl j or any other hot key that mach3 is not using. Once your done, save the file and then reload mach3 with the new screen set. Hope this helps.

Raul

PoKeys / Re: Pokeys 56U behaving erratically

Tripleback,
Thank you very much for you suggestion. I had emailed the guys at Poscope and they had suggested how to reset it. After a couple of attempts, I finally got it to work. I did notice one thing on my little adventure trying to get the board to work correctly. If you have the pokeys board setup thru the pokeys software and then you have Mach3 pokeys settings different, Mach3 will override and rewrite the settings that are on Mach3 to the pokeys board.

Once again thank you for your suggestions.

Raul

PoKeys / Pokeys 56U behaving erratically
« on: March 24, 2012, 08:03:16 PM »
Hi all,
I need a little help. I have a pokeys 56U with firmware version 3.0.25. It was working perfect until last night as I was changing some input settings. Now it is activating and cycling thru inputs automatically. I have reset and cleared all the settings on the unit. I have reinstalled the mach 3 plug-in, I have even moved the pokeys board to a separate computer and I am having no luck. I have it connected to a third computer with nothing attached to the board and I still can not get it to work properly.

Is there a way to do a hard reset on the pokeys board?
Those any one think that the board might be damaged?

Thanks

Raul

General Mach Discussion / Re: Z-Axis Probe to set Z height.

The Mach Blue Probing screen set should have a place in the probe section where you can set the Z plate offset.
