Z max -50, min 0 slow zone -1, %20

try this:

Z max 0, min -50 slow zone -1, %20

Make sure your machine coordinates are between 0 and -50 when you try to enable soft limits.

You prolly need to run the "Ref All Home" first.  Soft limits is for limiting the Machine Coordinates.

Reply for further help.

I had picked 058 because most of the changelog after that was lathe stuff.  But I will take a copy of 057 too just in case. (total PITA not having non-phone internet in the shop).  Thx.

I agree, Hood, and it shows more and more everyday I try and use additional features.  Do you have a recommendation for what version would be good to roll back to (using this on a gantry router)?  I wish I could remember what I was using before I updated on this machine.  I only just updated another machine from 2.63.  That version was good for a long time!

Mach 3.043.066

When M6 is called in gcode, the Line # goes to 0.  Turns out this is caused by using "GotoSafeZ ()" in M6start.m1s.

Is it just "just one of those things" or what?

M3 quit working for me today in the middle of a routine its done a hundred times.  I opened M3 in Notepad++ (my favorite editor), resaved it, and it worked again.  Ugh.

If I'm reading you correctly it sounds like a job for a macro pump or Brains.

Btw I realize its an old thread. ;-)

Agree with Greolt, and also want to mention that the slower the A turns and the higher the acceleration, the less noticeable the problem is.
