Flash Screens / Flash example
« on: August 08, 2008, 08:58:38 AM »
Here is a dumb example of what you could do with flash (non-operational as a Mach screen).

Press Cycle Start to see the effect.

If you Computer is Crashing with Flash here is some other things that Jason said, could be the cause:

-Not using the latest Flash Plug’ in
-Not installing the Flash Active X controller
-Not running Mach version 3.*********
-Running Mach in demo Mode
-Antivirus system not allowing Flash to run (you could be blocking any Adobe product from running on your system)

Add to that: running more that ONE version of the Flash plugin. DAMHITK, ;-)

Thanks, Mr. Overloaded.

POI: I seem to remember that Art bumped it to 1000 when he was using an Artcam generated toolpath with a lotttttttt of little segments.

Whats the max look ahead #?  I thought I saw Art say that he bumped it up to 1000, but I cant find that post anywhere.

It doesnt much matter.  The only thing the diameter does is set the rotational feedrate (if you have the feedrate option set in config>toolpath).  Pick the average dimension of the turned piece and just adjust the feedrate on the fly with the 'feedrate overide'.

Forum suggestions and report forum problems. / Re: skip in z axis

What verson of Mach are you using?  I had this problem when I switched from 2.58 to 2.63+.  If the Z motor is tuned faster than the x or y, it skips... sometimes.

Flash Screens / Re: Mach3 Flash OEM .fla: "Mach Nation 11-20.fla"

I dont know what the problem is, but I can say that having more than 1 flash plug-in in the plug-ins folder will cause weird things to happen.  DAMHIKT  ::) ;)

Makes one wonder why Artsoft doesnt license the Flash plug-in and split it with Jason.

Oops, i meant to say:  adjust the rotational diameter dro to speed up or slow down the rotational axis.
