Thanks Craig the supplies are the switched mode type that they list on their site. I am  going to try a separate 12 Volt wall wart on the C 6 board. and see what that changes. If you have any other advice I would be very grateful

HI there I am trying to connect a D700 Vfd to a C6 and C10  which are both in the same box with separate 5V and 12V but wired to the same  input pwr socket. The C10 is only to control a couple of inputs and to drive the spindle board. I am getting start and speed control seemingly correctly but stop only slows the spindle so perhaps there is some interaction between the two supplies.
 Does this seem likely and would splitting the input power to a wall wart type on one perhaps help. Also would anybody here have a wiring guide as I have tried to modify  a previous connection with a different spindle board.
 I would like to make sure this isn't the problem before going back to the local supplier of the inverter who has helped before but has no idea of the Mach 3 side of the setup.

Newfangled Solutions Mach3 Wizards / New licence not working?

Hi there I've just purchased the new fangled suite of wizards but can't seem to get the licence working. I've unzipped the licence on the desktop and placed it in the Mach 3 Folder but nothing seems to have changed. Is there something I should do to make it work I can post code from some wizards but the new fangled suite of wizards are the one I want the most and these are the ones that show it's unlicensed.
I have Mach 3 on two computers and both show my name in the licence box, I've only tried this on the one not connected to the CNC. So I hope someone can help me.

Hi there I have finally got my 626 size mill working after too long, I have good smooth moment but  a problem with any inputs.
 I have Mach 3 and Mach Std Mill so not sure where the problem is. As soon as I only enable a limit switch with no actual connection it lights as though the switch is activated and and has to be switched off at ports and pins before the light goes out.
  I have reinstalled Mach 3 after uninstalling but when I started it again it picked up my licence so was probably not completely stripped out. Quite a while while ago running a simulation  I got the auto  to find an input but since then nothing as when I press the auto find nothing happens.
  Hope you can help me as I've spent far too much effort to fail now. I have the soft limits but would prefer proper home switches ant to use a probe that's  why I  got the MSM.

Hi there I am inquiring about any problems running mach on my new windows 64 bit  Pro computer this is for  cad design and processing only as I have a XP  machine for the machine controlling duties. Am I right in thinking that this should be alright or could you point at what I need to do.

Thanks for that Graham I'm really enjoying trying to learn Mach 3 and it's great that there is such a swift response, I'm sure i will be back with more questions but for now thanks a lot.

Hi there as somebody struggling to learn this program before my mill is being converting. I am enjoying it so far but as I am trying to input G codes clumsily I keep getting lines I want to remove, I have read the manual about load and saving but can't seem to easily delete the bad lines. Thanks for any help.
