« on: September 28, 2012, 07:24:10 PM »
Hi there,
pot via Pokeys works great for me. ( Pokeys55 with Plugin 10.6.4 )
I use three pot's
1) feed and rapid override
2) limit rapid
3) spindle override

Hi again,
here a advice
at the beginning of the macro you should have checked all conditions. What i mean is
does the tool exist
which tool is in the spindle
which tool is called
and so on ...
When the mechanically part ( movement ) starts then
1) turn the carousel to the positon of the tool thats in the spindle
2) index the spindle
3) do the axis movement
and so on ...
If you want to use T0 command ( bring the tool that is in the spindle away)
then you need conditions for that.

just a thought

Hi Greg,
you need a simple brain for this.

Hi Sweep,

I attached another file which looks a bit clearer without using the g code variables.

I'm here in the north of germany.

PoKeys / Re: turning on outputs in prokey 55 from mach3

Hi,
the only idea that I would have is to read out the " To Go " DRO by a brain
when its value is positive then aktivate the output.
that only will work in MDI or or AUTO mode. not by manual jogging.

Hi Sweep,
You're welcome.  :)
I think I feel a little thirsty :D

I attached a file how I would do it.
should be running so far.
There may be different ways to do it.

hope that helps.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Is Calibrate Spindle Working?
« on: September 16, 2012, 03:05:57 PM »
Hi,
try setting the minimum PWM at least to 1% or higher in -> port and pins -> spindle setup, for calibration.
just a thought.

Hi there,
try a negative Z axis value during cutting eg. ( Z -0.1 ) in your g code
not positive.
