Newfangled Mill Wizard / Re: Pointer to current version
« on: June 04, 2013, 12:03:33 PM »
Hi Ron,

the toolpath in drill looks fine now.

I really like the User G-Code and Tool Strategy feature. I find it really useful.  :)

Just found that the values in Tool Strategy has not been saved.

Saved the file, closed the file, ( or closed the Wizard ) and then reopened the file ( or open the Wizard )

and looked into tool strategy, all values are Zero.

Regards Alex

Does your license still work with LAN connection disabled?

No. Only when enabled.

Hi all,
just an info.
Some days ago I tried to install the license.
No luck first.  ??? Then after an hour or so I had the idea to enable LAN  ::) (  normally deactivated due to it is not an internet PC )
That did the trick.  :D
LAN activated = license  :o
LAN deactivated =no license  ;D

Newfangled Mill Wizard / Metric units In drill cycle not metric in Z
« on: April 06, 2013, 05:19:32 PM »
Hi Ron,
while playing around with the wizard demo I found this.

The Z depth of both the circular pocket and the hole circle is the same in the settings.
X and Y is OK but Z seems to be inches in all drill operations. (screenshot)

BTW I really like the clean easy to use design.

Regards
Alex

me again,

just see its not solved. The G83.1 ( high speed peck drill ) is running now,

but not the G83 what you want.

If you like risk  ;D you may want to give the attached cycle ( modified by me ) a try.

On your OWN RISC, NO GUARANTEE at all. It should be running fine. BUT WHO KNOWS?

Rename it to M1083.m1s and place it to your lathe profile macros folder.
