Mach4 General Discussion / activate script on button from script

I would like to combine the scripts on several buttons on a screen into a separate single button without copying the scripts from those buttons.  How does one push a button to activate a script from another button on the screen from a script?  thanks

I have Pokeys57E with a CNC4PC multifunction board running Mach4 which was great when setup in 2018.
Something went funny with my single motor machine and I had to reinstall and configure everything.
Everything is working now except for homing.  It will home and hit the limit switch and reverse off the switch then reset position.
However I need the motor (A axis rotary) to move back to 0 position about 10 degrees.  When I originally set up the system, I believe I
put in the amount of steps to back off.  Now that option is not available.  Pokeys tech support says I should control homing etc
from Mach4 and not the Pokeys software.  I believe I originally controlled backlash and homing behavior from the Pokeys software.
At this point neither CNC4PC nor Pokeys have been responsive to my questions.  Is this a Pokeys or a CNC4PC or a Mach4 issue?

PoKeys / ip address PokeysCNC57E

Need help with suggestion for ip address for PokeysCNC57E.

I had to change the battery and no the ip address is lost.  Not able to get help from Polabs with no response from them for some reason.  When I set up my machine in 2018, Posupport suggested an ip address range and if worked well.  Can anyone suggest what to try.  Thanks

Mach4 General Discussion / angular axis incremental stepping

I have an A axis which is working well except when I jog 1 degree repeatedly, I get 1.01 then 2.02 then 3.03
The addition of hundreds is not always consistent.  I expected that a jog of 1 degree would always show a DRO of 1 more degree.
It also happens when I use a Gcode move to 1, 2, and 3 degrees.

Is this a step per unit issue or something else from the plugin etc?

I have a Pokeys57E and a CNC4PC C62 BOB.

PoKeys / homing

I have Pokeys57e and CNC4PC C62 board working very nicely to control a single stepper motor. The limit switches work well but the homing routine will not work.  The motor turns and when the table hits the limit it just stops and limit is lit in Diagnostics.  I have tried all the tricks described in the documentation but nothing makes a difference.  I have the newest version of the plugin which is supposed to have a more sophisticated set of options for homing.  I have run the Pokeys software outside of Mach and from inside Mach with the same results.

PoKeys / Pokeys57E and one motor

I am using Pokeys57e and measuring very nicely from 4 analogue pressure sensors in Mach4
Now I would like to add a single stepper motor but it needs to be a rotatory axis.
I also have available CNC4PC C62 board and the BOB to interface the Pokeys57e to the C62.

It seemed that the Pokeys57e could control a motor but I cannot get it to work.  I am using
Mach4, a Gecko drive.  I tried to setup using the Configuration in Mach4 for Pokeys
but every time I try to turn motor control, the GUI crashes.

Should I just connect the 57e up to the C62 etc?

Mach4 General Discussion / Lua file operations

I cannot get Lua to write to an empty file.  I create the file nicely and if I put a character on the first line then the write command works fine
If I create a file which is empty, then the commands do not work.

Anyone have this problem?
