General Mach Discussion / Spindle start

Is there a way to have mach pause for say 5 seconds for the spindle to start before it moves to its first cut location? I'm finding its plunging down before the spindle is up to speed.

General Mach Discussion / PS3 controller help
« on: April 11, 2012, 11:12:55 AM »
I set up a PS3 controller and it works great, but it will only work if I open up keygrabber first and then load mach 3. Is there something in mach 3 I need to configure so I don't have to open keygrabber every time?

General Mach Discussion / Re: New user couple problems

Thanks the debounce worked  ;D. My plan is to add some optical home switches in the future and leave the current limit switches.

I think I also figured out my problem. I had my limit switch off and ran the Y too far and I think I threw the base out of alignment I ran it really slow and I think the Y axis is binding and causing the stepper to stall.

1. I have limit switches wired in series on all axis and use them has home switches as well. When I'm homing sometimes I will get a limit switch error when it hits??? Currently its doing this every time on my X axis.

2. I'm trying to cut some lettering and its shifting down in the y direction??? on every cut any ideas?

My Y axis runs opposite of the normal configuration. Is there a way to flip flop the y jog buttons?
