I don't know if it is a language barrier or a typing barrier but your messages are almost impossible to decipher. I would really like to help but I cant make sense out of your message.

If you can describe the problem you are having and what you have done to try and solve it you will get more responses.

No worries  :)

You would not believe all the different ways my last name has been spelled over the years. It is only four letters but I'm in the habit of spelling it for people, when asked my name I'll say, 'its Jeff Birt, it's spelled B I R T' and about 50% of the time I get a blank look from folks. Once I had a lady ask me 'Are you sure?', you just have to smile  :D

You will need much more than 200mA to drive a stepper motor, and likely more than 3A to drive all three. Just get yourself a good, fixed voltage power supply and that should take care of your issue: http://www.soigeneris.com/meanwell_sp_320_power_supply-details.aspx (my website). NOTE: the G540 has an internal very fast blowing 7A fuse, you do not need more than a 7A supply for it.

Another newbie getting ripped off by cheap Chinese machines  >:(

It's easy to sell cheap stuff if you use cheap, poor quality parts, don't care about the quality of the construction and then steal the software (i.e. pirated version). Stick it on EBay and some good person who has worked hard for their money will think they found a 'great deal' and buy it only to discover later that they were taken.

Why not leave truthful feedback about it on EBay, let everyone else know they are selling mislabeled products (i.e. does no come with needed software though it implies it does) or that they provided a pirated copy?

I feel sorry for the folks who get ripped off and pissed at the dishonest people who sell this crap.

Why use a BOB with a G540? The G540 has a BOB built in! Sounds like over complicating the situation to me :)

The G540 requires that the charge pump be on even during Estop. There is a setting in the general config page to select this behavior. Gecko provides a profile with everything already configured for the G540, it makes a good starting point so you don't get bit on the butt with problems like this.

Just for fun I thought it would be interesting to see if Mach 3 would run on the Windows Surface Pro tablet I just got. Since this table runs the full version of Windows 8 and has a USB port it seemed like it would likely work. Mach 3 installed without a hitch. Since Windows 8 is more strict about using signed drivers some hoops had to be jumped through and a beta driver and plug in from Warp9 had to be used.

A tablet like this may not make for the most practical Mach3 PC but it is fun and I think it will be a neat to take to shows to run a machine with it.

SmoothStepper USB / Re: backlash comp, debounce settings

The quick rule of thumb is if there is a place to change a setting in the SmoothStepper configuration then that is where it needs to be set. As I understand it there are a few settings that Mach does not notify a plug-in when the setting is changed so they were added to the SS config screen, the SS also allows you to set the 'debounce'/'noise filtering' by input type so you can have different settings for limit switches, than a probe, than EStop, etc.
