Roger, if you can cover shipping I can just drop one in an envelope. It should be relatively inexpensive to send by USPS Priority mail. I'll send details to you by email.

to my no name control box.

Funny how no-name products also come with no support :)

Those look like the same plugs used on the Ethernet SmoothStepper for the power connection. Are you just wanting the male part shown in the picture? If so I think I have a few spares on hand I keep for the ESS boards.

Can you attach your XML please? I'll take a look and see if anything looks amiss.

Have you configured Mach3 to use the VFD output! Have you set up your pulley ranges? Did you set a spindle speed before turning the spindle on?

There are only a few jumpers on the ESS and PMDX-126 that you need to mess with if you are wanting to power the ESS form the PMDX-126 or vise versa. The PMDX-126 manual covers this in great detail.

I would use .062. There is a thread in the general Mach section of the forum that details all the problems with .066 .067 if your interested.

The first thing to do is drop back to Mach3 .062 the newer versions multiple bugs that cause numerous problems. You can a link to this version on the documentation section of my website, www.soigeneris.com or of the Mach FTP site. The next thing to do is to make sure that your XML file is not write protected and that the permissions are set so that Mach3 can write to it. Sometimes Windows will block a file when it is downloaded from the internet and you have to right click / unblock it before you can change it.

I just got your voicemail from yesterday. Does your PC have an internet connection as well? If so I can remote in so we can both see the screen. It is typically much easier to find the issue if we can talk and both see the screen at the same time.

That message is telling you the plug-in can't talk to the ESS. Most likely causes are that you don't have your PCs network adapter configured properly or your firewall is blocking the communication.

Please take a look at the new ESS manual: http://warp9td.com/files/ESS%20User's%20Manual%20Rev%200.1.pdf.zip

You do not need to run the configurator unless you need to change the IP address of the ESS. It comes already programmed as 10.9.9.9. Most problems folks encounter have to do with firewall programs. You must let Mach3 through your firewall, and of course have your PCs network adapter configured properly. It does not matter if you are using one or two ports on the ESS the configuration to get it to talk to mach3 is the same.
