General Mach Discussion / Can't get mach 3 to drive the machine after re-load

I've had Mach 3 running a mill for several years now on multiple Dell computers with XP. When the computer dies, I buy another one off ebay. In the past I've copied my backed up Mach 3 and other files onto c: drive and the thing would run. I'm getting old and this time I missed something. Mach will come up and show my registered name on my license. I can hit axis feed buttons and the display changes but the axis' will not move. All the parameters seem to be right. Printer port enabled.
Any help will be appreciated

Got the refurbed computer in this weekend. Hooked it up and reloaded configs. My backup was contaminated, something about a .dll file. Contacted Artsoft yesterday afternoon because I couldn't log into the site to download a freash copy. By the time I got home I had an email with my liscense and a very helpful pdf. Transfered the files and loaded configurations and was running inside an hour. Very happy with the great customer support!

I found a refurbished dell on ebay with xp pro for $125 including shipping. I paid $600 for a kid to build me a computer that will not connect to anything I have. Plasmacam needs the 0378 address also.

I have a mill that ran Mach 3. Had been up and running fine for several years, but the computer guy says my motherboard is dead with no hope of resurrection. I have Mach 3 saved to a thumb drive and pictures of all the parameter pages. I am dealing with some other software on a plasma table that requires the 0x378 legacy address for the lpt. I figure I'm going to go through the same mess with this software and the legacy address. Does anyone sell a computer that still has this address? Any help would be appreciated.

Can't get mach3 loaded on this computer. Dell laptop with a windows 7 64 bit os. Says it can't find the enable40.dll. How do I make this happen? Or can I make this happen? I've searched the forum.

The R isn't backwards. Your displays are correct. You are looking at the back side of the R, thru the cylinder. It must be in my computer graphics because I have the same settings as Greolt has. Mine is not producing the x axis moves on the display. I'll load Mach on this computer and see what happens.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been out of town for the holidays. I'll print off the replies and go play on the machine today. Center of rotation has always been z axis origin. Rotational axis is .745". Changed it from zero to get the machine to feed properly on x axis moves, per another post.

That isn't it.It seems to show the "A" axis moves as a going around the part, but the "x" axis is compressed to about .1". Like I said, I've been engraving on this machine for a couple of years and it always looked the same. Then for one session it looked perfect. I've hunted for G code change but it all matches. Could it be something in my graphics card?
