Hello All
Well I have my lathe running and have covered the whole of the machturn user guide" using Mach3 Turn"

Can someone suggest an entry level tutorial on gcode?

sorry about the spelling -
 "click the single step button"
" the whole program"

Thanks for your answers-- I have done the following with no problems as yet
click "cycle" click single step"
start cycle
the program cycles through on step at a time when i see it looks ok then click the single steo button and it
changes to auto and continues the while program
seems that nothing goes wrong

 Is it acceptable practice to toggle the single step button in middle of a cut?

i have been taking single step cuts until I am happy that all is OK and then I toggle
out of single step while the machine is cutting for the NC to finish the job on auto.

It occurred to me that this may cause some sort of a conflict??

To the experts -

thank you for your kind advice. I never used the video tutorials until
you suggested that i do and now I realize how much further i could
have been if i had used the video tutorials. The one I have watched are comprehensive, easy yo understand
and very educational.

Just a question about " zero world"
If i zero world does it also reset the home position that was set with home x and home z ??

Hello there
I cant seem to get the full video for "installation and basic configuration"

The video shows perfectly until about 90% of the way and then goes dead.

and the download indication ribbon has also stopped moving??

any6 suggestions appreciated

on the mach3 screen there are buttons called "part Zero X " part zeroY"

Please define what this means?
