« on: September 14, 2012, 07:59:38 PM »
Back to ground zero

My pc got a virus I ended up having to erase the hard drive an reload my backup disc.

my back up disc were made when i got pc but i hadnt backed up mach 3.

I had to down load microsoft  service pack  1, 2 and 3 .

I down loaded mach 3 lic but when I am trying to config I cannot get any motor movement.

I went to check driver test it show 0 pulse rating ?   Is this the reason i cannot get any motor movment.

hi br549
This topic was in share your gcodes but when i stated to run into trouble, my problems  was over running the dragon topic . i didnt want other people to think this code has problems so i started this topic here. very unfare of me not to post all the info but i was screwing up dragon topic .
original file was 619 mm y axis, my y axis max is 597mm  about 23.5 in this is what started all of this.
Graham and Rich Advised me to scale from 1.0000 to 0.9000  and i had never scaled anything before or even knew how to scale.  the 0.3000 is about 200mm or 7.380 inches  across. im just trying to learn and im not as smart as you guys are.
this dragon file is a tool to help me learn because im not understanding everything i though hands on exp would help teach me. i have learned but i dont know if this file is going to be productive in teaching me any more past this point.
once again Please forgive me for my poor info.
and the tool path extents is why i ask for help to start of with.  but thats cool because if i didnt know before i do now. thank you
