General Mach Discussion / limit swith vibration
« on: December 26, 2015, 11:19:04 AM »
My limit switch's work as they are supposed to , my problem is when my spindle runs into a knot or heavy cutting ( wood router machine ) the vibration trips a limit switch . Usually the Z or Y switch , my question is , can I have the homing switched back off more , so they are not on the brink of tripping , and thus not trip when there is a little more vibration.

   Thanks

Hi, where do I get the info to set up Mach3 to turn, I don't see any wizards in my mill screen, brain freeze, big time.  HELP!

Hey tweaki, the fix is to install the Mach3 Mill Rev1 post processor from the Bobcad site and turn off the sub programs in the current settings. Seems to work fine now , I do not have my machine yet but I have my electronics on a bench trying to get everything to talk to each other. Let you know if there are any problems when the unit gets here. I also found out if your stepper motors are running hot with a Gecko G540 system, that cnc parts has pigtails with I believe a capacitor in them. They run cool now!!

    See ya

Is anyone running a router mill with Bobcad CAM v24 , Mach3 , on a 4 axis Gecko G540 control. I am having trouble finding a post processor that works.

    Thanks

Steve, I am going to have the same combo as you, can you tell me what post processor you chose in Bobcad?

      Thanks
