Hi does anyone know a way to make a manual rapid jog move always stop at a whole number?

eg stop at 120.000 instesd of 120.365 etc.

Hi Everyone.

I bought one of those cheap hand controllers from Ebay for$38.
Took quite a bit to set it up and get it working. Now it works but when you use the handwheel it moves the axis then when you stop the axis is still moving because it didint keep up with the handwheel.  It does some funny things some times.
Like if I do any thing where text can be typed it just fills it with the letter r and just keeps going until I unplug it.
Anyone else tried it? any luck?
Would be a nice bit of gear if it worked properly.

Hi Zafar and good luck with your project. would be real nice to see some pics as you progress. My torch height is a manual setup. It has a rack and pinion with a handwheel on the side. if you look close you can see the silver colour handwheel on the 2nd pic. Works fine can just wind it up and down as the machine is running. Was thinking of automating it but have found that there really is no need for it. Cheers and thanks for looking at my machine.

Hi ,
Im new to the forum. I have built 3 cnc's so far. An engraver. A wood router and my latest was this Oxy Profile cutter
Ive been using it to cut plate for earthmoving attachments etc.
