General Mach Discussion / Toolpath Display offset
« on: July 20, 2006, 08:25:07 AM »
Hi,
When I run a program in mach 3 it displays the path in the graphics window as the cutter moves. Quite a lot of the time however this is offset compared to the "loaded" toolpath.

It does not seem to cause any problems with the work but is very disturbing to look at the cutter display not following the path !!!

Does anyone have any ideas. Could it be something to do with setting the zero locations ?

I use the default screens that come with Mach 3. I suppose I would need to use it on the mdi screen and when setting up using offsets.

Sounds fine to me. So in effect you will create a key similar to Caps Lock whic I can assign.

I have just got a nifty wireless keypad which allows me to use it as a pendant for manual axis control. The only problem is that it does not have a SHIFT key. Does anyone know how I can reassign the Shift in Mach 3 or remap rapid travel to not need the shift key.
