Newbie here... can someone help me with signal definitions - else point me to a place in some documentation...?

I used the .XLM config file on this site for the MAXNC CL, but I found out too late that the config didn't assign the stop/limit switches - so I broke something... 

I suppose I need to assign the X, Y, and Z limnit switches to something... but what signal to they belong?

General Mach Discussion / 4th Axis help on MAXNC10CL

Hello all,
Can anyone give a newbie some general help regarding a 4th Axis rotary table for a MAXNC10CL?

I'm trying to wrap my head around the way a round surface is milled. For instance, rotating the same number of steps or degree will yield different "distances" upon the surface of the rod depending on the diameter... so what does the G code look like for this?

Any milling tips or reference material would be appreciated.
