General Mach Discussion / Charge pump error in version R3.043.050
« on: November 04, 2011, 09:20:17 AM »
Just to inform that in version R3.043.050, after Mach3 is loaded, pressing reset to go off emergency mode sets the charge pump ok. Reseting again, the charge pump will not go functional again ever. Need to close mach program and open again to have the charge pump functional again.
This does not happen, at least to me, in the last lockdown version.

Thank you,
I was hopping there was already a built in feature.
That will work also.

General Mach Discussion / Input led
« on: November 03, 2011, 08:28:50 AM »
Hello.

Trying to put a led that informs the state of the input OEM trig #1, 2 and so on, defined on Inputs signals tab of the mach3 settings.
I have open several screens and honestly I cannot find this info.
Anyone?

Thank you

The version that you tested is probably a test version (free of charge) that only runs a small number of lines (I believe 100 lines). If you like the software pay for it and you can  run all the lines you want.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Spindle speed fine tuning

Hello,
I believe that you cannot get better than that in the relation from the C11 to the VFD, this is, the analog signal that will enter the VFD should not get better.
What you can try, and I do not know if your drive have this available, is to tune the gain in relation to the analog input, this way you can control better what you want. Im my case I stay happy with 2Hz difference.

General Mach Discussion / Tooltable in turn
« on: October 16, 2011, 07:28:02 AM »
Hello to all.
It is possible to access the information of the current tool offset and display it on the screen? and do some math with it, for example with brains?

What I would like to do is for example: When calling T1250 (example), to be able to display on the mach screen the toolradius associated with the nÂș50 offset (present on the tooltable), and if possible do some calculations with it.

Thank you.

General Mach Discussion / Safety door issue
« on: September 18, 2011, 06:30:21 PM »
Good night,

In a totaly closed lathe, with a sliding door with a solenoid, during a cycle run, the user cannot open the door as it is closed by the solenoid.
With the machine stoped (non cycle), the user is able to open the door and the following should happen:

1) Not possible to jog the machine. I do not want to disable the servo drives as in Mach the axis values would change, I want that Mach disables movement until door is closed - it is possible? this is, there is a why that jog and outputs (water pump for example) are not enable while the door is opened?
2) Not be able to start a cycle. This is ok to implement.

Thank you and greatings.

Pretty bad place for the little info box. everything you'd want to see is obstructed.

Here you can find another
