Turn is a mess in Mach3.

I bought it from CNC4PC
I use also 2 boards in each PC.

Another possible approach for what you want (from I understood) is under your drives if the drives are able to do it.
Mt point of view:
Considering that you are using step direction control method (if you are using Mach then probably are):
If your drives are able to define its error limit, start with a big value and move your machine around, then you will know if you are between a error limit during travel or not. As you will want until what you can get, lower further your limits until your machine triggers the error on the drive. You must then do your calculations to find what is the size in travel of your error (how many mm correspond to the number of steps that you have).
This however does will not reflect time, but it is a starter.

Two parallel ports at the same time on the same PC works fine.
Buy a PCI parallel port and try. I am using a very cheap board with a MOSCHP chip that works ok.

No, just replace the IC. Like I said before it is a 74H something (follow the lines on the board that goes up to the connector where you wire the switch and you will find the IC). It is less than 2USD. It is easy to obtain.

So, when you home, the switch will be keep like it was triggered, is it? This is, the axis hit the switch and it will remain hit.
(if you had limits switches it will go to emergency stop in this situation, that is why I asked before if the machine would go to emergency stop).

If it is like I described then the issue is equal to what I had. This is, the error is on the breakup board. The IC is easy to find.
Never understood why it was damage, and it happened to me twice (without doing changed on the machine, just working with it)

But you have your home switch set up in the configuration?
And when you request homing the axis starts the procedure for homing? or i am missing something?

Your home is not your limit switch also? They are independent (you have a home switch and a limit switch)?

Your machine enters emergency stop due to this situation, correct?
I had a similar issue. The problem was on the cnc4pc board, the IC that is connected to the inputs micros. It is as 74H*********xx, I do not remember exactly.

I enable the drives with the charge pump, this is drives will be ready after the reset is unchecked, and mach is ready. If I reset mach because of the servos status mach will not ever stay off reset. This would be a safew procedure if Mach was able to do what I want - only axis movement if a condition is set.
The toggle axis can be a thing thing try. Thank you on that.
