I have my Huanyang VFD Spindle working as I would like it, I even have the cooling water pump starting with a relay. But here is the problem, the G-code file starts running before the spindle is up to RPMs I tried adding "G04 P5000"  to the file for a 5 second pause, but the pause is not long enough for the motor to spool up to speed.
So what am I missing?
P.S. Is there a way the get the motor to spool up quicker?

I just found an answer...............  "G04 P5000" should be "G04 P200000" for a 10 second pause.  :)

No need for any of that. You just need to adjust the settings in Mach under Ports & Pins -> Spindle Setup to set how long Mach pauses to wait for the spindle to spin up and spin down.

Thank for this post. It is just what I needed. ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Theminor for the reply I'll check it out and see if I can get it working. I'm getting closer to using the water cooled spindle.

General Mach Discussion / Moving 'Z' .001 at a time

I saw in a YouTube that if you press "Ctrl" and move X Y or Z. It will move .001 at a time. I have tried this and it works on this PC. But the PC that my CNC is hooked to will not do the .001 move. If I press "Ctrl" on the CNC-PC the DRO starts moving an will not stop until I press reset.  I tried to reinstall Mach3 with no change. Both PCs are running Mach3 version R3.043.056 W/ Mach2010 screenset. It's not mandatory that I be able to use the .001 move, but I can see where it would come in handy at times. Am I missing a setting somewhere on the CNC-PC?

I really like the "2010 Screenset" and the tool change works like a dream. Just one request, maybe this has been ask before ........ Is there a way to make the 'Line #' window show more digits. Sometimes I need at least 6 digits showing when making large reliefs.
