CS-Lab / Re: CSMIO/IP-S vs DELTA ASDA-B2

Arman

Did you ever get this up and running perfectly??

I see you are running Asda B2 from Delta.. Are you also running 750W servos??

I recently bought a Chinese machine that came with deltas, but it did not run properly, so I changed back to steppers until I could figure out what the problem was. It seemed the motors overshot, and did not correct them selves and so on, when moving. Tuning these drives was not se easy as one would have thought.

Do you have any experience tuning these drives??

I'm running a CSMIO/IP/M so pretty much the same setup, other that you have  more axis than I do.

Any thoughts??

Oh, well it was operator error... :P

I forgot this monitor was running 1280 so when I set it to 1024 instead, then it worked as it shold.. The outside DRO's are no longer visible. :)

Hmmm, I can't see the one to the right, only the one in the bottom. And no matter if I do Auto screen enlarge or not, they do not show up..

Is there anyway of getting the screen to expand to full screen without the feedrate DRO in the bottom of the screen that's outside the screenset it self?

It's the one highlighted in the bottom of the screen.

What about the tool change settings, will they still be the same then.
If Fusion 360 issues an M6 command, for a tool change, I guess it will work as it would for the 2010 screenset as well.

Hi Gerry

How is it looking about a PP for Fusion360?? Is this something that will come in the near future??

I can easily recommend boards made by cnc4youstore.com (english) Otherwise cncmania.co.kr

I have an older version CMC101 breakoutboard, with built in PWM signal to control speed of Spindle, relays, and a bunch of I/O's.

Their bigger boards have from 4-6 axis control, and a bunch of I/O's, all have spindle speed controller built into the boards. And they run on 24VDC rather than 5VDC which is sensitive to EM noise.

The boards them selves are not that expensive, The CM106 board which is a 6 axis breakout board is not a bad choice for multi axis controls.

I have added a few links for the boards they deliver.

This one is the closest I can come to the model I have.

And I gotta tell you, running LPT still gives great results.

Ok. I'll have a look at it if I mount the ESS again... :)

I'm having the problem when homing x axis with a slave on two home switches.
