Thank you.  I'm sorry there haven't been any updates.  I've been focusing on the day job and putting the finishing touches on my CNC machine.  I did however let me AADD get the best of me and started yet another screen inspired by my iPad.  I'll post a screenshot here soon.  Hopefully the community here can help me decide which screen set to finish.

------------------------------

Merci.

Can you publish the source fla?  I use to program flash many years ago and would be interested in seeing how you created this screen.

Thanks!

Font color is easy as it's a global setting.  You'll find the right one.  Try a medium blue with your color scheme and lighten your labels.  Should pop

Just some things to consider.  It's just my experience at creating GUIs for business apps that you want to make your labels slightly less visible than the data elements.  It makes the important information more easily accessible.   Normal labels and bold data or differentiate the two using color.  If you notice in my GUI and several others that the data elements are highlighted either by the DRO background or in my case I have light gray labels and bright red data.  Also remember when creating the interface to make all your DRO areas the same color.  You can only define a single background color for DROs and other elements.

This is just the beginning, I can't believe how long it has taken me to just do this screen image. Tongue  Since I am getting by with the 1024 screenset, I can still use the mill. It will probably be slow progress on this as I still have to learn to use MachScreen.

Welcome to my world!

I'll probably remove the MDI line too. Since I want to eliminate the keyboard, I'll need to figure a way to have one on the screen for MDI (so it will probably be changed to a button to open a different screen). I had planned on having the flyout be a keypad, but there are things about that I don't think will work well.

Just a thought, I haven't tried it yet, but if you're using Win7 you could use the built in screen keyboard.  I think there may be an add-in for Vista as well.

dotScott has a beautiful Settings screen that I want to use parts of also.

Thank you!  If you need any of the source graphics, please let me know.  You'll need Adobe Fireworks or Photoshop to manipulate the pages and layers.

Best of luck and keep up the good work!

You should also be able to click the M1 OPTIONAL STOP button on the Program Run page.

Thank you for your replay. I have the fonts in c.\Mach3\Fonts directory and I have installed the fonts in windows as well, but no success.
I got my power supply today so I will make a test on the PC with xp today. I let you know the result. It might be a Vista 64 issue.

Drag and drop the fonts into c:\windows\fonts to install them.  Restart Mach3 and then go to FUNCTION CFG > FONTS and select the fonts as shown in the screen capture in the zip file FONTS directory

Hi,
I'm new both to the forum and Mach3 but I must say this looks very nice!
I have downloaded and played a little bit with it without any hardware connected.
I will have a ELO touch screen on my mill so I will certainly give this a try.

Since I'm totally new to Mach3 I can’t give so much feedback yet but I have 3 questions so far regarding the M3 screen.
1. I don’t have the correct font on the hardware tab. It seems to be the default font.
2. The Stop button is flashing yellow all the time. Is it correct or is it only on my PC.
3. Will the offset tab be in the M3 screen as well?
I’m running Visa64 for the moment, but I will have XP on my PC for the mill. I’m waiting for a power supply before I can test on that PC.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it.  You need to install the fonts that are included in the zip file under the FONTS folder.  The stop button will flash until you are connected to your machine and reset.  I am working on the offset, probe and touch off screens now (as time permits).

Major setback.  Long story short, I lost my source graphic file and needed to recreate all the elements.  Below is a preview of the latest Hardware page along with an incomplete set file to try out.  Please let me know if you find any issues with button assignments, etc.  Included in the ZIP file are the fonts used.  These fonts are from dafont.com (and excellent resource for fonts!) and are free for personal use.
