All other limit switches work fine???
Any thoughts on that

I am using a gecko 540 and I swapped the cable from the z motor to the y output on the gecko. FAIL
But if I hook cable from y motor to z output on gecko, I can drive y motor with z hot keys.
I hope this makes sense!

I have been using my machine for several years now without fail. Then I am jogging wy y axis and it quits moving and starts making a horrible noise.
Also notice e-stop quits working. Diagnostic screen has a green light at pin 5. I have an xtra plt port, so i switch to that, same problem.
Switched cables, same problem. Swapped cable to x axis and y hot keys move motor and vise versa, so driver and motors ok.
I re-installed Mach, same problem. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know, I am at a loss. I have attached my xml.
Thanks, Matt

BR549, Thank You
I adjusted my accellaration higher and it did increase my feedrates!
They almost doubled, which is a big help.
I do believe you are correct about the short segment issue.
Obviously I am a newbie, maybe in ten or twenty years I might get a hang of this!
Thanks

I should have figured it would not be that easy.
Now I get a notice telling me that the PWM has been set to minimum.
I still get much slower feedrates than programed.

Hello Anybody/Everybody,
My name is Matt and I have a problem, and no, an ointment won't cure it!
I am running a job and the feeds are considerably less than programmed.
I know it is something I am not doing right and I have tried to look for a solution.
Background...I import a DXF into Dolphin Cam which worked great.
Used a Mach 3 Inc post processor, that works fine.
My feed rate is programmed at 100ip. I bring the job into Mach 3 and it looks fine
tool paths are OK. I then cycle the job and the feed rates are about 1/3.
I did a test with a circle wizard and that worked fine.
I'll try to attach my xml if I can figure out how to.
Thanks in advance! I type about 3 words per minute, so if I left out anything,
let me know!
