General Mach Discussion / Re: Properly doing "Run Frome Here"
« on: June 28, 2010, 07:53:04 AM »
Hi Hood,

I just need a bit of advice on RFH. Everything works fine from the line I select and the Initial Sart and the line it should Start. I have noticed that all the MCODES activates during Start up to the RFH including Macro which has ActivateSignal. Am I  doing it the wrong way of running RFH? Please advice me of a solution. Thanks in advance.

Thanks
Renato

Brains Development / Re: Should a Brain disable a Macro

Hi Doug,

I have the same problem in regards to output not activating when brain is running, Where you able to resolve the problem? i have made a macro that AcivateSignal(output1) and a simple brain turning Output1.

Thanks

Hi Guido,

The Default Value is 50 and i have tried 10 seems to work better. Do know how Systemwaitfor works?

Hi Guido,

I have the same problem with delayed FRO update. So I have emailed Rufi from Vital System and The response was good and quick. The update is much better when I modified The MaxBufferSetting.

Here is his response From Rufi

the FRO is actually delayed because of the buffering inside dspmc.  you can reduce the buffer size by using the MaxBufferLevel setting.  lower value will give you quicker FRO response, but if mach3 slow down for any reason, the axis may jerk during gcode motion.  you can test different values and comeup with an optimal value.

Hi Guido,

I am using DSPMC controller and Pokeys using pin 43 as analog input and works great without a problem.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Multiple Head Router

Yes I understand your point. As mentioned on my initial post  the GCode program use to work on the older controller. And the GCODE PROGRAM was generated by our CADCAM software and the post processing was written by someone before me. I am trying to figure out the best best way to clean up and make the Machine safer.

Hello Ya-Nvr-No,
Thank you very Much for your reply. the red Buttons are pneumatic switch that releases the collet of the individual tools manually. the Spindle Motors are AC Two phase Precise High Speed spindles capable of running 60,000RPM.

I am currently using a DSPMC controller from Vital System and was able to configure the motion system and Brains without any problem. The Vital system works great and I will recommend the controller. At the moment the motion is running without any problem.

This is the only part that i got stuck. I don't know where to begin in regards to the tool change and offset off individual tools. At the moment what is set on M61 to M67 macro is ActivateSignal() only.

I would appreciate it very much if you could give me an idea where to Start

Cheers
Renato
