Decimal precision is saved in the .dxf file. So when you open it, it **should** change the settings in your CAD program as well.

Creating g-code from an image file is very inefficient. You might want to convert the image to a vector file first, then convert the vectors to g-code. Could cut your machine time be a factor of 10 or more.

My Mach3 PC in the garage is connected to my home network with 4 PC's, 1 print server, 2 TIVO's and an Xbox360. No problems at all.

The splash screens have nothing to do with the license. They are just randomly displayed when Mach3 starts. And I think there are 3.

There are a lot of people buying the Chinese routers and I haven't heard any bad reviews.

ER20 collets come in many different sizes, from 1/32" up to 1/2". To control the spindle with Mach3 you'll need a 0-10V analog output, or a speed control board that has one.

AS for the Dewalt, have you checked the brushes? Or is it the bearings? Replacing the bearings is fairly cheap.

Are you cutting at 70 ipm? If so, that's way too slow for 24,000 rpm. According to Onsrud, you should be cutting at over 150 ipm at 24K rpm.
