Under Start > Settings > Network Connections, what does it say under status?

If you right click on Local Area Connection, do you have an option to Disable it or Enable it? If it says Enable, then it's turned off. If it says Disable, then it should be on.

Start >Settings >Network Connections.

Under LAN or High Speed Internet, you should see Local Connection. Right Click and choose Properties.

There's a window with a list of items with checkboxes. Click on Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) and  then click the Properties button below it. You should see a window where you can set the IP address.

I'd make sure the g-code is correct. If the Y axis DRO is not changing, and the Y axis is not moving, then the chances are very high that it's a g-code issue.

My guess is that your steps/unit is wrong.

If it's not already, set your Native Units to inches. If it was mm, close and restart Mach3. Then, make sure that you're in inch mode. Then, move and see if it's moving the correct distance. If it appears to be in mm's, then most likely your steps /unit needs to be changed.

If you originally set up the machine with the native units set to mm's inadvertently, it's possible to set the steps/unit in inches, and it will appear to be correct, until you run g-code with a G20.

If your just cutting parts from sheet stock, there's an easy way around it. Say the nominal thickness is .75". Program all your parts as if they are .75" thick, then set your Z zero .75" above your table. Then it doesn't matter what the actual thickness is.If you need to v-Carve, or cut precise depth pockets, then there's not much you can do.

No. When you run a wizard, the Mach3 screen is unloaded and the wizard takes it's place. You can't use Mach3 again until you exit the wizard, which reloads the Mach3 screenset.

Actually, it's the older version that can import .dxf files, which is the screen you've shown. The newer version is a different screen. Config > General Config.
Make sure IJ mode is set to Inc.

The DRO should show the actual position, which would be the plate thickness + the retract amount. If they don't, then your Z zero isn't set correctly.
