Save as a version 12 .dxf file. LazyCAM (and a lot of other CAM programs) can't open newer version .dxf files.

You didn't say you had an ESS. So yes, with an ESS, you can do other things while Mach3 is running.
My guess is that your problem may be related to the ESS.

No, I've never heard of or seen anything like that.

You should never use the computer for anything else while Mach3 is running. It can definitely cause issues, but I wouldn't expect it to do what you're seeing.

And no, the screenset has no effect on Mach3 operation. The only thihg different is the look. Everything "under the hood" is the same Mach3. I created the Aqua screenset, btw.

Never used the shuttle Pro.

Hit the TAB key on the keyboard, and you can change to jog step mode and choose the increment.

Before you load the code that causes the scaling, look at the upper right of the screen. Is there a G20 or G21 in the status line? If there's a G20, then you're in inch mode. If it says G21 before you load the code, it shouldn't be doing any scaling.

If you plan on exporting to a CAM program, you might want to try the .dxf tools, which gives a much better output for CNC use.

After exporting the .dxf's, any CAM program will work. Cut 2D, Sheetcam, CamBam,...

Or, you could try the DragonCNC beta, which exports your g-code from within Corel.

Config >Select Native Units, and set to mm.

If it was in inches, you'll need to change  your steps/unit in motor tuning and re-adjust your velocity and acceleration.

Cutting speeds are controlled by the feedrate in your g-code. You don't really set axis cut speeds.  Each axis moves at whatever rate is necessary for the movement to be at the commanded feedrate.

Jogging speeds are usually a percentage of the motors velocity in motor tuning. If the axis have different velocity settings, then their jog speeds will be different. (I think).
When you say travel, speed, do you mean rapid speed? The rapid speed in the velocity set in motor tuning.
