It's preferable for the toolpath to travel along an arc when cutting outside corners. It keeps the tool in motion while cutting the corner, rather than stopping to change directions.

It looks like you have the software or post processor (or both) configured incorrectly. I have no experience with it, so can't offer any more help than that. Do they have a user group for Shape3D? If not, try contacting the developers.

Make sure the name is correct. I don't have Mach3 installed here, so I can't check right now.

You can use a VB Script in the button to call the wizard by name and run it. Use the LoadWizard function.

Debounce only works with the parallel port. As you've seen, motion controllers usually will have their own noise reduction settings.

If you edit the screenset in a screen designer, you can set the limits of the FRO slider there. And if you remove the FRO up and down buttons and DRO for direct entry, the slider will dictate the available range.

The latest 2010 screen does work properly with the NF Wizard, and the Tool Table window opens up, and works. The screen set that did not allow the Tool Table to function had one difference- It had been modified with background colors using MachScreen.

Sounds like a bad .xml

I don't use the NF wizard, and I hadn't seen this thread, but as Ron said earlier, when you load a wizard, the 2010 Screenset is unloaded and gone, and should have no effect on the wizard operation.

Is there more than one programming "interface" available?  I hear/see terms like Macro, BAISC, Cypress BASIC, etc., not sure what options are available.

All are basically the same thing. Mach3 uses Cypress Basic, which is nearly identical to Visual Basic Scripting.

Go the the Mach support website to get all the docs you need.

The Mach2 Customization guide covers the development of wizards.
There's a Mach3 programmer's reference as well.

For creating wizards, you'll need to use a screen designer. Either Screen 4, or Machscreen.

You can assign a script to a button in Mach3, using Operator > Edit Button Script, but you have to designate the button as a VB button in the screen designer to be able to do this.

You can also save your script and call it as an M code in your g-code by saving it as M*********.m1s, in your Mach3\macros\yourprofile\ folder.Only use M codes greater than 100, ie, M101, M650, ...

There is no shortcut key for M6. Or for the Spindle, which is M3 in MDI.
If your using the standard size 1024x768 version, you can try the Jog It version on my website which uses mostly default hotkeys, where F5 turns the spindle on and off.
