General Mach Discussion / Re: Switching computer woes

The cards that seem to work in cases like yours need to work without a factory driver, try reinstall with an ms generic driver first before hunting cards, the startechs from tigerdirect have never failed.

i just wish ...:)

Give it a try!  Start out with a simple steam engine. If that goes well build a milti cylinder steamer. If that goes well build a 2 stroke gas engine. Work your way up from the basics. That's the way 90% of the engine builders do it. Start small.

I have a coke bottle kit, things have been moving slow but I have not given up.

And do you have complete plans for this or just the blower?

thanks for the inspiration

Most tables let u mesh the worm tightly/tighter or just drill the mounting holes for lash. I use / sherline type setups, there collar is solid. The bigger motor / driver the better.....

These will be supper in the next year or 2. They go to the creek when the lake freezes.

As far as bambi goes, oh well. I broke my back in a motorcycle accident because of over population. But that led me to cnc and here so it kinda evened out.

Happy summer/winter

K thanks all...  got the bank onto it.. sometimes she lets me buy toys :)

(i woudl have to grind that probe point down a bit tho.. and reason not to, will damage summing inside it.. bear in mind, by grind im referring to refined jewellers diamond discs.. not an actual grinder.

you can get different tips, extensions. 1mm dia is the smallest I believe . http://www.cadcamcadcam.com/contactprobe.aspx
