looks like at least 1 dc02 board. I'm putting 2 motors on a custom spindle housing(bigger better bearings) so is it ok to run both feilds off the same board(dc02) or do i need 2. and will a 5v input suppy give me 7v or do I need a 10v supply?

hope i'm clear

thanks a bunch

I want to run 2 spindles and the speed controllers need 0 to +7vdc. So I need 2 pins (I have). I understand the breakout board issues but what do I do in the con-fig section?

links, anything

thanks

That clamp may restrict the flapping around of the screw some but it's not doing the intended job.
But if your happy what more can i say.  ;)
RICH

my screw is straight and it does not flap at the max speed of the servos which is a 1000 rpm, I checked :) but i aggre a bearing would be nice

Heres a picture of the clamp.

p.s. if the screw is bent straiten it. with servos it hits 1000 rpm shaft speeds no problem w/ 14" of t ravel

for the x you can use a nylon cable clamp, they look like a P when viewed from the side. the y would work too but you will lose .375 at full y-0. I've am just getting an a2z conversion going with standard metric pitch and thats what they put there. The backlash nuts don't like much more the 40imp though.

Mach3 under Vista / Re: Windows 7 64 bit & Mach 3...

Hello I am new but most mb's do still have a pp port, its just a header connector on the board.  I have run into two styles most have a very readily available one and msi has there own. the msi is smaller but can be found on the net. the last one I built cost me 450 with a 24 inch refurbished monitor from tiger. It runs emc,Mach, corel and turboCad no problems on xp pro or Win7 32

I like cheap

the only time it skipped steps was when I ran faster then 60ipm and its a Shirline 20tpi, it will run 55 but I keep it at 40 so the nuts stay tite for more then a day. I also drilled the table for lube.

and thanks to everyone on this site as I'm 2 months into this "hobby" and from just reading stuff here I'm doing 4 axis work
