MAke SURE on your caps that you over rate the voltage rating. Do not use 25dcv caps on a 40 vdc system.

The only thing running when Mach first starts up is the macropump and Brains . I have looked at your macropump it is NOT a simple macropump. ALSO check for duplicate DROs THAT can cause the same problem..

I have looked BACK throught the old trouble notes and those 2 things were the only things I ever saw that could cause what you see.

Might want to use Mach Screen and double check for duplicate DROs

DID your old machine do the same process?? If so then try that setup on the new machine.

You can set it up one of two ways using the G28.1 method OR use the G31 method.

With the G28.1 method you set up your floating head as the Z home and have it  home toward the bed. Then the Cam that you use must generate the following type code.

N0120 G28.1 Z0.50
N0130 G92 Z0.0
N0140 G00 Z0.1370
N0150 G92 Z0.0
N0160 G00 Z0.2000

With the G31 method you setup the floating head as a Probe then you cam must generate code like

N0120 G31 Z -100 F19.685
N0130 G92 Z-0.0800
N0140 G00 X5.5505 Y9.8813
N0150 Z0.0000

Are you using the tormach system? If so then it is different from a standand mach setup.A standard Mach ssetup does NOT use Tool#99 for tip comp. There is a setting on one of the pages that comps the tip and then ONLY to comp the saved points files.

Tony not a biggy on the start point just an observation from cutting (;-)  You may want to make an option for a left hand or righthand setup code wise. With Some machines the A mounts forward some mount aft.

Tony they look ok from here(;-)  One thought though, can you start the cut from the other end of the saddle on the branch cut? That way it is easier to set up on the edge of the tube AND when you cut at the finish the scrap will fall straight down.

WES It looks good from here (;-)  Are you having trouble veiwing it it the toolpath??

It could be backlash loose play or loose motor connection to the screw.
