IF you do not set the tool diam in the tool table HOW is MACH going to know how much top offset it.

The process is you set up your tool table to the SAME values that you tell your CAM to use when creating the code. Then IF you need to adjust it you squeek the Tool Diam in the machine tool table to match.

SideNote:  IF it already cuts too large then it is too late. You need to know exactly what the tool cuts .Make simple test cuts then apply that comp to the table.

All commercial controllers have a 2 step process to RESTART the machine from estop. It is a required safety feature IF you want to build machines AND keep your retirement funds from the lawyers hands.

Same with startmotion on hand pendants. All motion starts SHOULD require a 2 button push to move. One is the safety the other is the function. AND requires a seperation distance so you cannot use 2 fingers on the same hand as easy access(;-).

You are young yet, you really DON't want to see what can happen with machines in motion and fragile human body parts.

The fingers/hand/arm/life you save MAY be your own. (;-) TP

Wear Diam does not work in mill (;-) If you need to adjust the offset do it to the Diam.

my rule of thumb is USE Sleep() when there is an update to a VAR or DRO or LED to take place and something has to take place based on  those updates.

The Gcode seems to be stacked into a Que and seems to stay in order most of the time the CB updates and calls are all over the place and need supervision(;-)

I would be nice if someone were to actually MAP out the process so we would KNOW how the process really works. CB all by itself works well. It is when you mix it with Gcode that most problems occur.  Perhaps a GATE can be created to keep the process stable??   I know it works to keep goats in the barnyard(;-)

OK can you create 2 macros to do the same thing 1 for raise the other for lower. Then assign each macros to a button??
