Go to gen config then toolpath config. Check the box for USe radius for feedrate.

THEN go to the settings page ,top right and insert the values of the A axis part as a radius.

That will allow MACH to know what the true surface speed of the part is based on the radius AND allow it to better blend the feedrates of the XY/A.

I don't know of any reason for the CODE "S100M03" to not run, it does here.

Do you get an ERROR message as well??

TO have any speed on the A axis as a 3d type cut you need to sync to the A part diameter so MACH acan figure out the proper relationship of the X and A speeds to BLEND the move. Otherwise Mach picks the slowest combination it is aware of "the a axis speed". BUT as you have found IF you make a staight X move it runs at the actual speed called for.

The leadin move is to allow MACH room to physically comp the actual comp value. G41/42 sets the direction to comp on the move. The direction required depends on where you are in relation to the direction needed when you start the move.

HIYA R. I think you are looking for Var # 15095 that will update the A axis DRO.

BUT what you will find is you have to use the inverse of the value. IF you want to put +11111 in the DRO you have to SetVar(15095,-11111).


NOW for a piece of FREE advice I would just change the DRO from the a axis dro to a user dro.  Any of the screen designers can do it very easily.  Once you start playing in the Paramters side of MACH you can easliy corrupt MACH in a way that you will NEVER be able to find the problem OR correct it. WITHOUT having to actually reload MACH3 and start ALL over again with a NEW MXL.

There are about 20,000 things in the Parmater side tha you can mess up accidently(;-)

I noticed something funny today working in the latest Dev Ver.

1 Mach no longer holds short on a move it can't make . IT rounds it UP and makes the move.

2 Subs get caught in an endless loop and fail.

This was checked against an earlier ver that ran the code  fine.
