HIYA Klaus, Have you given any more thoughts on a Build a wizard function where it will trans fer all the needed bitmaps to the correct directory for the wizard.

Currently you have to phsically go out and FIND all the needed bitmaps and assemble them in the proper directory BEFORE you start to build the wizard. Most times you don't really know which ones you will use . Then you have to physically move the bitmaps AND THEN change the path in the screenset after you have created the screen.

Yall experiment with MACH3 ? Say it aint so (;-) I am working on a new DRY run simulator function. you can run the sim as fast as you want and it runs the toolpath. Then repeats until you stop it.

It opens the windows notepad app and loads the Notes.txt file at the same time

In the case of a plasma just turn off the plasma unit.

Here I use a simple 2 pole relay 1 side opens the circuit going to FIRE the torch the other side closes the Good Arc signal so MAch3 can move(IF you "use" the good arc signal).

OR you can setup a second MAch3 session and operate as a plotter with the spindle relay turned off .

HIYA John as I understand it with the express version you cannot compile the code with a command line variable where a file can be called with the function call as a command line call.

Shell "C:\Mach3\FUNCTION.exe Filename.txt" That way when the program is called it loads the file to use.

IF you are looking to Draw the entire object you can turn OFF the spindle function and just run the program.

IF you are looking to draw the outside profile of the object there is NO direct mach3 function for that BUT it can be done. Turn off the spindle function and do a run from here starting at the outside profile.

I think there is a function over in the mach too box that can automate that function for you.

Just a suggestion but you may want to use a roller ball pen to do the drawing.
