HUM not really as the finished product that you are machining should account for that rough end.

BUT why not (;-) You have it all correct

Main cut loop Ystart Yend
Infeed loop Xstart Xend

Top down Z start Z end

Make it all a multistep process for the little ones(machines)

You will also have to have a section to monitor if MACH3 is moving then apply the monitor for the spindle other wise IF you are not moving then Mach3 will go into stop and you cannot get out of stop because the Brain will keep you locked out as long as the spindle is not running.

I think I would do it as a macropump it would be much more flexable.

G28.1

It will send all the axis back to their home switch.

As to work offsets you can use

G52 or G92 or L10 or G55,G566,etc. They are all covered in the Mach3 manual OR in Smids programing manual.

Give them a read.

Does your spindle have the drawbar hole down the center ??

The QC30 has the same taper and lug spacing as a BT or Cat30 (;-)

The posts are developed to run the machine AS it is setup.  The normal abc designation is for the A to run parrallel to X and B to Y and C to Z on a normal setup as rotary axis's.

Mach3 not having WORLD jogging makes it tough to run 5/6 axis code .

In the macropump you would check the state of the function as compared to what you want. IF it is already in that state then bypass the function else change the function.

In the  case of the flood turning on IF the led is already on then ignore the request. IF the led if off then do the request. This keeps the CPU useage of the macropump to a minimum.

Looks as if you are using the "toggle" on/off buttons in your flood example, not a good idea without a lot of safety code to go with it.  Also the toggle ed functions are best used with a supporting LED so that you KNOW what state it is in.

Also after each function call you need a While Ismoving(), Wend statement to insure MAch3 waits  for the completion of the call and does not just jump over the call and not do it.

Just a NOTE but I would find another PC other than "VISTA" It has been a nightmare at BEST.
