Thanks Craig, Now that makes a nice looking  "Mach4 Manuals "   Page having the manual cover pages  as the Button image to open.

I have loading PDF s working as well so I can load either *.TXT or *.PDF and STILL run Mach4 at the same time.

NOW IF it could only make coffee (;-)

NOW I did just hang a sign on the PUTOR it says DO NOT JUMP DOWN THE MACH4 RABBIT HOLE. IT WILL CONSUME YOU like mach3 did.

I do not see a way to bring in your OWN images only the prepackaged ones can you access.

Where are the Images stored ??

OK I have beat up on MAch4 for most of the Gcode stuff that I can without being able to MOVE the machine.

I could suggest a read of a  Fanuc and HAAS Gcode manual

AND  it is what it is  AND what it does have does work well so far (;-) and should be very familar with most folks.

Just remember MACH3 it is NOT in many ways. RTFM

 IS there anything NEW ready yet ??

M4 Manuals are accessable from inside Mach4 from the Mach4 manuals page.

Not as easy as a DIR selection Script  BOX would be BUT it works AND you can read and run MAch4 at the same time.

As new Instruction manuals are written you can add them to the page for direct access.

Next Idea , the Manual button now works great but how about a LOAD manual function that allows one to View the Manuals  " Directory" and pick which one to view.

Probably best to JUST do PDF files though.

Just a thought, as one idea ALWAYS breeds another

HIYA Craig you must have never used SCREAM4 for screens this one is a piece of cake  ONCE you learn what buttons to push. Now there COULD be some improvements made to the Screen editor but we can cover that later on.

I have always known them as

a # var such as #1 or A in a G65

A # param is a parameter for a function  such a #5061 A axis probe trip position OR set #9999 =1 to turn ON/OFF a function

A register is where these are stored and can be called anything as  Number or a Name

NO Mach4/Lua programming manual

The old Mach3/Cypress Basic Manual was a GREAT asset in dealling with Mach3 macros.

With you setting up all the custom functions and STUFF for LUA I find little to NO example of this type programming on the WEB. MOST of what I find is for creating GAMING programs. THE REST of the references  ASSUMES that you are already a Cracker Jack C programmer and FULLY understand the process.
