General Mach Discussion / Lateste Dev version notes

I noticed something funny today working in the latest Dev Ver.

1 Mach no longer holds short on a move it can't make . IT rounds it UP and makes the move.

2 Subs get caught in an endless loop and fail.

This was checked against an earlier ver that ran the code  fine.

OK I must have been asleep when did THAT sneak in. You can pick the dro then hit the +sign and a number and it adds it to the DRO value same with * and / but NOT -

Iam not sure I like that idea I found it by accident. My fat fingers hit the / above the 8 on the keypad and the dro divided by 8.

CAN you turn that OFF?

General Mach Discussion / CPU processing speed ???

Now bear with me on this one(;-)  . IS there a way to lock a computer into a SET processing speed( for the lack of a better term). It seems problems arise between computers of different processing speeds with the MachCB macro code.

I know on commercial controllers that are  ALL of the same make use the same boards, it is not a problem as the processing speeds are all the same.

IF mach could LOCK IN a certain speed perhaps that would help with creating UNIVERSAL CB code???

I also may not be making any sense trying to describe it(;-)

General Mach Discussion / Running G28.1 while in G68 Rotated coord base

HEY Andrew could you ask Brian if he could fix the G28.1 Z   so we could run it while in G68 Coord rotation. We only need the Z to be able to refhome in plasma NOT the X/Y. I understand the important of not being able to refHome X/Y while the G68 is rotated BUT that shold not effect the Z axis in any way.

It would be a great time saver for the plasma group IF they could use the g68 and still use the G28.1 Z.

Note: you can use the G68 IF you are using the G31 method of TOM.   Most use the G28.1 method(more dependable).

Could someone verify that the G73 pullback setting is NOT being saved in the XML when you change it .

Config , port/pins, mill options, lower center of window.

General Mach Discussion / Mach3 OEM FUnctions Manual (Sorted Listing)

Here is another of my manuals I use. It has all the Oem functions, Buttons,Dros,Leds listed. They are all sorted in order.

First Section is sorted by Function then Number.

Second Section is sorted by Function then Description.

SHould make it handy to find a function either by name or number.

I don't know how usefull it will be BUT here is a manual of ALL the Mach3 screens and config windows. Should make a handy reference book
For those long distance trouble shooting sessions.

Might be NICE to have a MACH3 LIBRARY section to hold all the docs in one spot.

VB and the development of wizards / SendKeys ???

I am working on a workaround and trying to use SendKeys.

I have to access a plugin, that part works fine and the window pops up.

I need to send 2 things to the window   "1" and "enter".

When I code it out as soon as the plugin is called the CB side goes dead waiting on the plugin window to close. So it is a catch 22 where neither one can respond. IF I close the plugin window then the CB finishes running the code but it is TOO late by then.

ANY ideas
