ron, i just purchased a router with mach3 and i need to know how to get my NF license on the new computer.i looked in the folder and got lost.

i to have the same problem. mach. is ref. at zero dro is o, so the mach knows it is at o and i do everything in inch. in the x center i ended up with the number 125.00 and the cross hairs moved to the center of the circle. on the cut arc wizzard all is good. i tried all of the wizzards pertaining to arcs, circles ect. and it was just the cut circle that does this.

this might be a crazy ? but im am getting a cnc router but i do have cncmill, manual mill ect. and it is the x movement that is the longest of travel for the mills but the y is the longest for the router. can this be switch as to when you draw on cad you dont get confused or am i missing something.

well i got the 286 installed and i got the error on line 22. dont no what that means but when i closed it and reopened it all was fine. i'll keep the older versions installed just in case i have problems.

i must be getting old but i just downloaded the 286. i have to put it on a stick so i can take it out to the shop to put it in the pc where mach is. do i unzip before i put it on the stick?

i have v18 & v23 and i am really not to happy with the product. i dont do fancy machining but it is a lot of editing in the moves. just yesterday i was doing some text work and i found many lines where the z was not coming up for the next letter. what a mess. just waiting for some cash to come in to get some other cad-cam software with not so much of a learning curve.  tom

you need to edit your z for now but make sure your program value for z has a negitive. just a thought. maybe post your code here to see the problem.

ok heres the deal. i talked to the guy at victor art and it is impossible to send it. but i can send you the g-code for the size you need. let me know what you want to do. i tried to send as an attachment but it came up with invalid image.
