I thought you were from across the pond? Now I see a US Quarter and not a 20 pence piece, LOL (Good thing you did cause I would have no idea the sizes of your coins.)

Dan has to be close to being correct on thickness. But I don't consider paper as wood. Where do you get wood that thin, Looks more like a thin veneer or laminate.

Questions:
How do you prep your pieces before burning, like staining?
Do you do anything after you burn them, sand them?
Do you use any glue to hold them together?
How do you manage not to break the fragile pieces, my fat fingers would make them toothpicks?

Thanks for the heads up on fotosketcher, always nice to have new tools.

I'm not sure what causes the issue then, but it does keep going after I release the arrow button. This new gantry router I am building has some real leverage, creates some real bangs. Guess I'll look at again later, too much to get done to scratch my head about it now.

I tried the following macropump, works for me but it acts like when it is updating the display and I press the arrow keys at the same time the axis takes off and wont stop till I hit esc or the opposite arrow button. Thought I'd try it on a system with a pokey55 on it, I guess it could be the issue. Other than the crash I had, it worked fine, lol

I have made a new version for this screen with some new functions and bug fixes.
( version 0.98 )

I am looking forward to seeing your new revision. Hopefully a Moderator can help you update your original post; or you can just upload it and all will understand.

Unfortunately no provision is made for using an A axis ( but i quess I am only one of the wierd ones that seem to desire it).
RICH

I think you mean C axis (A rotates around X  :  B rotates around Y : C rotates around Z)
All Turning Center spindle orientations are using C axis that I have programmed.

The jewelry guys never mentioned anything like that, and they do some ultra fine detail. I too would have to think it is a cutter diameter issue. Or you have multiple overlapping lines and your post is trying to do it all.

The handle "CNC is the future" , made me chuckle, I learned NC/CNC back in 1972, that's when I knew it was the future.

Is that a Gas can and a quart of Oil I see?

So when do we see Fire coming out of those pretty pipes?

What material did you use for the tubes and how did you shape them?

Nice work

Is this still using Dovetails and leadscrews or has the slides and screws been upgraded too?

Nice work Wes... I like
The Control +- 10% override... I'd kind of like to have the option (text box) to a value I choose.
