That's pretty cool, but what was the generator used for? and at 400Hz?
I know, Your new power supply for the Laser... lol

Guess we can never tell you to get a new hobby, you do seem to find em...
Even though the fuel usage is excessive, should make a nice resale item after you restore it.

So you will remake it? I watched their process and was amazed as to how fast and simple it was.

Good for you, I too heard about the restrictions on ADA signage and found it hard to believe they had exclusive rights they seem to bloat about. It seemed like such a simple process, I remember having that conversation with him about it and told him, they was out of line. Hope you can get this matter resolved and make this monopoly an open market.

If it was a surface model, I think it would be easier to create the hatching pattern.

And yes clamp the part at a 40 degree angle so you expose the concave recess vertically up.

Most of these patterns are stamped or pressed in production.

Think Rhino surface modeling would be the way to go. Then project or wrap a line to a surface so you can machine/drive a cutter to it.

Then on the trigger you could cut perpendicular to the surface, and rotate the part on the 4th axis in a temporary fixture.

Will this work?
clamp part @ 40 degrees

Have you tried to upload them to the ftp://www.machsupport.com/Docs/ site?
Seems to me that would be the place for all manuals.

For some odd reason when I post this it puts http:// at the beginning of the ftp site address. :P
