I modify everything for my use, but I am sure I'd use what you came up with as a great starting point.

Then I'd say you are the Smart one for letting Sherry straighten you out.

So would that be she was smart or / ______ enough to marry you. (fill in the blank)

Keep up the fine work.

You could make the screen set available, cause I'm having way too much fun engraving to program.

Terry is full of great ideas and solutions, but I guess I will just have to get used to calling him Sherry now.  ::)

Screen designer tips and tutorials / Re: AUTOSTART & AUTOREWIND BUTTON
« on: October 28, 2012, 10:30:06 AM »
using a m30 the program should rewind
starting again in auto is really not safe, you need to make sure the area is clear and a new part is clamped properly
you are better off using a macro loop and call up the number of times you want it to cycle in the safe working environment.
There you can place a g4 pause time before it starts again.

Sorry to hear you electric furnace broke, I always thought that the temps needed to melt metal was left to gas.

General Mach Discussion / Re: Just thinking outloud (;-)

Not sure if this would work but why not pass the data stream thru a double pole relay and have the spindle M3/M4 output to the relay coil when it is in service. Then when the spindle m3/m4 is not called the servo can still orient thru the other side of the contacts. (Guess I'm thinking outloud too)

Looking forward to seeing the completed project.

Great details you made there Sam, with some great chamfering on all edges. Fine workmanship.
Pretty nice photo work too.

I'm surprised how quickly young kids pick up on the name. It's like a second language to them. Must be the texting they all do.
