Mach4 General Discussion / Re: Mach 4 Bug Reports

goto safe zero button I created

local inst = mc.mcGetInstance()
mc.mcCntlMdiExecute(inst, 'G00 G90 X0 Y0 Z1 A0')

goto button

local inst = mc.mcGetInstance()
mc.mcCntlMdiExecute(inst, 'G00 G90 X0 Y0 Z0 A0')

look for editing the button script under the "left down script" for the button

though not sure why some scripts show left up and some show left down
not sure when you would use both

think it was whatever the boys felt like that day, but Ya-Nvr-No I might just find a need

I am still getting a screen issue with just the top right side of the window
if I minimize Mach4 then open it clears the problem
more of a nuisance and distraction then anything.

Russ check out how I wrote my m3.mcs file
it works for me
in gcode, MDI or the button

http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,27141.new.html#new

In the MDI Tab only MDI commands are used
Found that out when I added a MDI to my Diagnostic Tab

Just so all know:
Select Edit Screen under the Operator menu
Choose the pull down option you desire here under Editor for the DRO you have selected.
After you have left the edit mode.
Turn the calculator on and off using the option DRO Auto Calc under the Operator menu

Steve; Long as I have your attention what is "Z order" refer too?

Thanks for the details,

I'm sure Terry has a room in the back you can use for your Florida getaway, he has his neighbors trained to be tolerant of his antics. Not sure they are used to SmartA__ Brits, but Hell... sounds like fun. I might just drive down and drink a few.

Looking forward to putting your efforts to work, sign me up. Just dont look for the Brinks truck to be dropping off that bag. But Ya-Nvr-No

Projected cost?
expected beta date?
Size?
will it be packaged, need a enclosure or mounted in the Control Box?
What is needed on our end to hook up and implement?
Number of Mach3 (Mach4) Inputs used?
Probe or solid pin?
Calibration?
Plugin or vb macro?
Size of tip calculated?
Can it be used/adapted for Tool presets?
5 volt 24 volt?

Seed money (would that show you true interest)?
BETTING there is interest, just dont put any money down on that Florida condo yet.
