Mach4 General Discussion / Re: Tool Change Message Box.
« on: March 08, 2022, 07:22:22 PM »
Just so every one knows - My m6 script (which I have never changed) didn't have any of the tool change messages in it. I copied the m6 from my other mill with the messages in it over to this mill and now I know what Mach is up to.
Thanks for the help.

Hi Tom
I just wanted to let you know that worked like a charm. Very happy with the DRO now remembering what it was at shut down.

Thanks Bill,
I set up the register Okay but now the DRO no longer actually changes the spindle range in Mach 4. When I removed the register from the DRO properties it went back to working correctly. I will make a DYMO label to remind me to set the DRO each time.

Mach4 General Discussion / Tool Change Message Box.
« on: February 24, 2022, 04:37:54 AM »
Hello

Some time ago when I had a tool change I would get a message box up to say some thing like - A tool change has been requested, change your tool and hit cycle start. I think it had a box that said "don't show this again" and I hay have hit the yes to that.
Does a standard Mach4 install still have the tool change message box and if so how can I get it back please - sometimes I don't notice the tool change LED blinking.
Thanks
Steve

Mach4 General Discussion / Persistent Spindle Range DRO
« on: February 24, 2022, 04:31:28 AM »
Hello
I have modified my wx4 screen set to include a DRO to set the spindle range. Is there a way to make this DRO persistent so when I start Mach4 it remembers what gear I left it in?
Thanks
Steve

Mach4 General Discussion / Re: Mach4 with TCH3in1 not seeing voltage changes

It work great for me so I'm guessing you might need to check your set up again - have you connected it to the correct input and is it set to the right polarity - depending on your plasma cutter the polarity can be reversed - I have a Hypertherm plasma cutter and it's connected reversed to some others.

Hello
Can I assume you are using the TMC3in1 on an ESS? if so go to the Warp9 site (home of the ESS and TMC3in1) and get their screen there. Follow their installation instructions and you should be good. They work great for me.
