JDA, you do realize that such vaporizers are available from China for about $20 US, don't you?  Kind of makes a hobby investment risky, IMO.

Do you get the problem when you dry-run code (without the spindle running)?  If not, you can be pretty sure it is an AC noise issue as Rich discusses, and an AC line filter may help.

PicEngrave Pro Version 4.2.5 now produces gcode for rotary engraving directly from an image - no conversion programs needed.

It sounds as though your X axis (left/right) may be operating reversed.  Try reversing the Dir LowActive setting in Ports and Pins.

In my opinion, the easiest way to "remove" noise from limit and home switch inputs is to bypass it to ground with capacitors.  Installation of a .1 ceramic capacitor on all inputs at the BOB to ground has been proven effective in many instances.
