Very well done.

Do you have to wear an aluminum foil cap for protection when you use it?  ;D

Hood,
I thought all that was done by the servo controller, and all that would be needed would be for Mach3 to supply an analog voltage to the existing controllers.  I didn't mean to add noise to this discussion.

Mach3 step pulses can be converted to an analog voltage using a digital potentiometer.  We are currently doing this for our laser diode drivers to modulate laser power.  http://www.picengrave.com/Laser%20Setups.pdf

Maybe our circuits can be used for controlling servos, too.

OK, I see that the partial Vectric post processor file you posted is a Cut2D file

All you need to do is delete only the lines that have M03 in them, no others, and save the file with a new name as the video explained.  In my copy, there are two such lines.

What is the actual software program you are using to generate your gcode, and what Windows operating system are you using with that program?

I assume it's a Vectric program, but which one?

Nicolas,
Only you can determine what is best for you, but with experience you will be able to improve your cnc operations.  I trust my system and often make multiple pieces without re-zeroing.  If a piece finishes with no problems, I know I have not lost positioning.

Pushing feed rates to the absolute maximum is often a way to assure problems.  I try to set my axis velocity and acceleration values at about 75% of where my steppers stall during setup tuning.  YMMV.

Also, do you get an error message in Mach3's status line?  Sounds like maybe a problem with the BobCAM gcode.

Did you install the correct current resistor for the stepper motor?

Charles,
Try this.  It worked for me on my Win 8 laptop.  I did not need it on Win 7.
