My autolimit overide button will light but my overide limit button will no light. Is there a way to activate it?

Home switches are enabled in ports and pins, tried active high and active low. No message. Referance button does nothing.

I can't move the mill using the graphic green and red icons on the jog screen. I have the og button turned on, and I can jog with the keyboard, but not with the jog screen. How do I enable that?

I'm trying to home my machine. When I hit the referance button nothing moves. Does it need to be set up some how to operate? If I enter G28, the table moves to the center, and not to the home switches. I watched the tutorials on homing and I think I have everything set right. I must be missing something. I'm hoping someone can shed some light.

Hello,
I am Captain Midnight. I am a gunsmith and also build flat track race bike frames. I wanted to learn CNC machining to compliment my shop. The fastest way was to buy a machine and do it. I have a 1986 Milltronics Pardner 4. Nice machine, but not PC controlled. To update it, I tore out the old Centurion 4 controller, and replaced it with an Ajax/Mach3. Still don't have it working right, but I'm close. I'm hoping this forum can help me get things going. I am selling my gunshop and want to do fabrication work. Thank you everyone.

I am trying to setup my spindle. 2hp AC with VFD. It starts and stops, but S won't change the speed. I can change speeds by changing the overide percentage, but not by entering M3S400, or M3S800, ect. Speed stays the same. If I go to pulley setup, and change the max speed, my base S speed is differant, but still won't vary with S changes. What should I look at? While doing all this, I get a message that says, "Scriptor Compile Error. In Spindle Speed. mis"

My shop is cold. I want to do most of my computer work in the house. Then take the results to the shop to produce. How do I do this without two copies of Mach 3?
